Stewart Cink (-12, 68-71-65=204) claimed the 21st Annual Boeing Classic title at The Club at Snoqualmie Ridge in a thrilling one-hole playoff over hard-charging 2022 champion Miguel Angel jimenez. The Boeing Classic has now had seven playoffs in 21 tournaments (2026, 2016, 21014, 2012, 2011, 2007, 2006).
Cink, who started the final round four shots off the lead, fired a final round 65 to finish at -12. Two groups earlier, Jimenez had capped off a round of 64 to finish at -12, shooting a tournament record low nine-hole score of 28 on the back nine with eight birdies and a lone par on #12. He birdied his last six holes.
Playing #18 for the first hole of sudden death, Jimenez’s approach found a bunker in front of the green while Cink found the middle of the putting surface. Following a par save for Jimenez, Cink had two putts for the win. After a good lag putt, he tapped in a short birdie for the victory.
This is Cink’s second appearance at the Boeing Classic. He finished second last year before this year’s win.
Seattle’s own Fred Couples finished T4 at -10, and got within one stroke of the lead. It was his best finish since a T3 in 2019.
The low round of the day was 64, posted by both Jimenez and Hall of Famer Ernie Els., who finished T4 at -10 for his third Top 4 finish in the last three years.

The Boeing Classic is celebrating its 21st year.
The event is more than a golf tournament. To date, the tournament has raised more than $12 million for local organizations, including VMFH and The First Tee of Greater Seattle.
