Els will compete at Snoqualmie Ridge for third straight year
Snoqualmie, Wash. (July 31, 2023) – The Boeing Classic announced today that World Golf Hall of Famer and Boeing ambassador Ernie Els has entered the field for the 2023 Boeing Classic. The 18th Annual Boeing Classic is scheduled for August 7-13 at The Club at Snoqualmie Ridge. Single day tickets start at just $20 in advance and $25 at the gate.
“We are excited to announce that Ernie Els will compete in the 2023 Boeing Classic,” said Tournament Director Ryan Ingalls. “Ernie is a tremendous ambassador for the game of golf. His performance on the course is only matched by his charitable efforts off it. His presence in the field is one of the things that makes the Boeing Classic a special event for our fans.”
Els has won 19 PGA TOUR events, including twice at the U.S. Open and The Open Championship, and three times on PGA TOUR Champions. He was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 2011.
He established the Els for Autism Foundation in 2009 and opened the first components of The Els Center of Excellence in 2015. The Center, based in Jupiter, Fla., serves local, national and international autism communities and aims to be a game-changing resource in the field.
In 2012, Els became the first professional athlete to sign a sponsorship agreement with Boeing.
