Snoqualmie, Wash. (July 29, 2024) – K.J. Choi, fresh off his victory in The Senior Open Championship, will compete in the 2024 Boeing Classic. He will be joined in the field by fan favorites Jim Furyk and Mike Weir.
Choi, from Wando, South Korea, will be playing the Boeing Classic for the fourth time. His best finish was last year with a tie for third place at -10. The Senior Open was his second PGA TOUR Champions victory, and first major. He also posted eight wins on the PGA TOUR.
Furyk, from West Chester, Penn. and the University of Arizona, will be playing at Snoqualmie Ridge for the second time. He finished tied for second at -11 in 2021. A three-time winner on PGA TOUR Champions, he also has 17 PGA TOUR wins.
Weir, from Sarnia, Canada and Brigham Young University, will be playing for the third time at the Boeing Classic. He has one victory on PGA TOUR Champions and eight wins on the PGA TOUR, including the 2003 Masters Tournament.
The 19th Annual Boeing Classic is scheduled for August 5-11 at The Club at Snoqualmie Ridge. Single day tickets start at just $20 in advance and weekly passes are just $60.
The Boeing Classic benefits the Benaroya Research Institute (BRI) at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, a world leader in human immunology to predict, prevent, reverse and cure diseases that involve the immune system. Over $9 million has been raised to date for BRI and other local charities.
