Tournament next week includes new Seahawks Village for fans

Snoqualmie, Wash. (July 31, 2024) – Fan favorite and World Golf Hall of Famer Ernie Els, winner of three of his last five PGA TOUR Champions starts, will be in the field for the 2024 Boeing Classic. In addition, a new attraction will debut this year for fans, Seahawks Village.

Els will be returning to the Puget Sound for the fourth straight year. He has won six times on PGA TOUR Champions, including three times this year. He has 19 PGA TOUR wins, including twice at the U.S. Open and The Open Championship. Els was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 2011.

He established the Els for Autism Foundation in 2009 and opened the first components of The Els Center of Excellence in 2015. The Center, based in Jupiter, Fla., serves local, national and international autism communities and aims to be a game-changing resource in the field.

In 2012, Els became the first professional athlete to sign a sponsorship agreement with Boeing.

The 19th Annual Boeing Classic is scheduled for August 5-11 at The Club at Snoqualmie Ridge. Single day tickets start at just $20 in advance and weekly passes are just $60.

The Boeing Classic benefits the Benaroya Research Institute (BRI) at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, a world leader in human immunology to predict, prevent, reverse and cure diseases that involve the immune system. Over $9 million has been raised to date for BRI and other local charities.
